 Speaking from an outside observer perspective and seeing most of these players during many spring tournaments, as well as conversing with many of the maritime coaches and scouts throughout the year, the answer is yes, the Q draft for 2008 will more then likley be maritime heavy. Are all the players listed going to the draft? Yes. In what order, who knows.  The coaches are looking at many factors that will determine who's going where and at what stage during the draft. There are other players who will also go high in the draft as well. Players such as Phillips (NB), Clarke (NB) and Gormley (PEI). I agree with the reply by the other guest that both Gormely and Clarke are probably the two highest rated defence for this draft. Both chose to go the Prep school route instead of playing Midget AAA in the martimes, however word from some coaches is they will be returning to play next season. Only time will tell. From observers, they (Gormely @ Notre Dame and Clarke @ Shattuck are doing extrmely well).
Gormely is certainly the best D coming out of the East (playing in the under 17's for PEI at the Canada Games).
 Most observers believe the following maritime players will go in the first round, however it's too early to decide in what order;

Courtier, Noel, Duffy, Gormley, Clarke, Phillips, Dart, Orr, Piercy, Moore.
I guess we'll wait and see who's who, where they're playing and whether or not some come back from Prep schools.
